pub enum Primitive {
Int {
length: IntegerLength,
signed: bool,
},
Float {
length: FloatLength,
},
Pointer(AddressSpace),
}Expand description
A primitive scalar type: integer, float, or pointer.
Variants§
Int
An integer type with a given length and signedness.
Signedness matters because some calling conventions require small integers to be sign-extended or zero-extended when passed, and using the wrong extension produces incorrect values in the callee.
Float
A floating-point type with a given length.
Fields
§
length: FloatLengthPointer(AddressSpace)
A pointer in the given address space.

Layout§
Note: Most layout information is completely unstable and may even differ between compilations. The only exception is types with certain repr(...) attributes. Please see the Rust Reference's “Type Layout” chapter for details on type layout guarantees.
